Interlibrary Lending (ILL), also known as Document Delivery, supports the instructional and research needs of the St. Francis Xavier University community by borrowing materials which are not available within the libraries at StFX.

Updated January 6, 2026 - Please be advised that our current Interlibrary Lending (ILL) management system will be shut down in June of 2026.  Your access to this system is now limited to viewing requests and loans in progress prior to December 19th, 2025.  To login to your account, please click on the "Interlibrary Lending Account Login" link in the menu to the right on devices with large screens, or in the "In This Section" drop down on mobile devices.  

If you would like a copy of your ILL request history (only available from 2019 to present), please follow the steps in this help document:

New Requests

All new ILL requests can be submitted from the Novanet Discovery Interface (catalogue).  See this KB Article for instructions.  Please contact @email if you need help finding resources or making requests.  The button below will take you to a blank ILL form if your catalogue and database searches cannot locate the item you need.
