Through a structured, three-week series of workshops scheduled outside of regular course hours, explore their strengths, values, interests, and goals; strengthen reflective habits; and develop tools to help make informed choices about your learning experiences.
Career resilience refers to the capacity to persist, adapt, and grow despite change or challenge. Xplore integrates the core components of career resilience — self-knowledge, adaptability, reflective practice, and decision confidence — throughout all three weeks of the program.

Registration: As a first year undergrad student you will be automatically registered in one session per week for the 3 weeks. The sessions will be hosted within Mulroney Hall, your registration email will contain classroom # each week. If your registered session time does not fit your schedule, please send message to @email to request a change and we will do our best to accommodate.
Prizes: Students who attend and complete the Xplore program will be entered to win various prizes or be eligible for the faculty grade incentive, if applicable.
Policy on Completion/ Receiving Prizes/Incentives
To meet the attendance and incentive/prize requirements, students must participate in all three sessions, complete the in-class activities, and remain present for the full duration of each session. Partial attendance will not be considered as having attended the session.
Students must complete the short in-class attendance/evaluation form in each session to confirm their attendance. If you have issues completing the form in class, let the Xplore facilitator know before you leave.
Students who complete the attendance requirements will be eligible for a prize and/or incentive.
Grade Incentive: Faculty have identified what courses will have a grade incentive and the incentive for their course. Typically, the incentive is equivalent to 1% bonus on overall course grade.
Process: Students who meet the attendance requirements as outlined in the course syllabus and have a course that is offering a grade incentive will be given the grade incentive. If a student has more than one course offering a grade incentive, the student can let the Xplore Coordinator know which course they would like to have the grade incentive applied. Students can only receive one course grade incentive. For students who do not have a course with a grade incentive, will be entered into win one of the prizes.
Missed a workshop? No Problem, week 4 will be for makeup sessions. You will have a chance to register for missed sessions.
