Senior Class Speaker

Katie Fraser Popovic ’05 ’25, DC 

Katie Fraser Popovic was born and raised in Merigomish, NS and comes from a deeply rooted StFX family. Her parents met at StFX and all five of her brothers and sisters are graduates. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree at StFX in 2005 and went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. 

Katie later returned to StFX to complete her Master of Education in Adult Education & Health. She is honoured to be the senior class speaker for the Class of 2025.

Katie is the co-owner of Timmins Chiropractic Clinic in Northern Ontario, where she has spent more than 15 years providing patient-centered care and leading a multidisciplinary team. She also works with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, supporting professional competence and continuing education across the province.

Katie lives in Timmins, ON with her husband, Mike, and their two children, Norah and Colin.
