Ken MacAulay
Ken MacAulay is a Professor and former Chair in the Department of Accounting and Finance. He holds a PhD from Queen’s University and a professional designation in accounting (CPA CA). Dr. MacAulay’s research interests are in the areas of corporate governance and financial literacy. He has co-authored three textbooks in the areas of accounting and financial planning and published in academic journals. Professionally, Dr. MacAulay has served on the board of the Nova Scotia Securities Commission and taught in the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy. In addition, Dr. MacAulay has served on numerous committees at the University. He is also active in the STFX Association of University Teachers (StFXAUT), having acted as Chief Negotiator and Co-Chief Grievance Officer. In the community, Dr. MacAulay has volunteered on the board of a number of non-profit organizations. In his spare time, he is an avid fly fisherman.
