Notice: Road Closure/Water Connection on Notre Dame Ave. - August 5th, 2025
Map showing road closure on Notre Dame Ave.

Please be advised that Bird Construction will be closing a section of Notre Dame Avenue, in front of Mulroney Hall, beginning the morning of August 5th.  This full-day closure is necessary to perform connection to water services for the Victor Phillip Dahdaleh Hall building.

The accompanying image details the area impacted; traffic control signage will be in place to direct vehicles and pedestrian routes will be maintained.

We will connect to the water main using a live method to avoid disrupting campus services. If any issues arise, we will shut off the water at the nearest street valve. Please avoid scheduling water-dependent activities in J. Bruce Brown Hall and the Bloomfield Centre in the event we need to isolate water.

Facilities Management regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks all members of the campus community for their understanding and cooperation as we advance in the construction of Dahdaleh Hall.

If you have any concerns regarding this work, please send an email to fmprojects@stfx.ca.

Sincerely,

Facilities Management
